Welcome to Alligator Park, a Punta Gorda, Florida Resident Owned Cooperative Mobile Home and RV community for adults 55 and up.

Punta Gorda was chosen as a top place to live by Money magazine. It was also recently listed as the best place in Florida to retire. Punta Gorda offers a pleasant year-round climate, relaxed lifestyle, and an abundance of cultural and recreational opportunities.

Folks from all over the country become Winter Floridians to enjoy our wildlife, birding, golfing, fishing, beaches and diverse variety of restaurants in the area.  Alligator Park elevation is 24 feet above sea level, one of the highest in the area.

During the winter season, we have between 750 and 800 residents enjoying our amenities.  Our winter residents include RV’ers who have been coming here for many years (see RV Options) and Mobile Home Owners who have their second home in the park.  Our year around residents number 85 to 90 during the summer months.

There is Plenty to Do…Entertainment, planned activities and dancing every month during the winter months. You can play shuffleboard, enjoy our clubhouse and swim in our heated pool all year. Play a game of pool on two pool tables in the Mini-Hall, which is also equipped with various exercise machines.  Card players enjoy bridge, euchre, and pinochle. There are 50 acres of paved and lighted streets for either bike riding or walking.  Within a few miles from the park are some of the finest golf courses and tennis courts in the area.  Our 25 acre lake provides free fishing, boating (no motorized boats) for all residents and guests.

Our year round residents also enjoy and plan activities with pot luck dinners, ladies luncheons, card playing  and many social functions within the park. You will always have something to do here at Alligator Park all year round.
