Embracing the Vata Season: Ayurvedic Practices for Autumn Wellness

Date & Time:

November 2 @ 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Autumn is the time of the year when our energy can feel depleted, and the sun that energizes all on this planet is now in decline. So, this is a natural time to rest, take it easy and replenish after a busy spring and summer. This time of year is ruled by the Vata dosha, the Ayurvedic dosha of air and space. Vata is called “the King of doshas,” and is responsible for every movement in the body. The key to balancing this dosha is regularity and routine.

In this workshop, you’ll learn about this Ayurvedic dosha, and how use yogic tools to balance Vata energy and create more balance in your own wellbeing. You’ll also learn about the Autumnal season elements that guide us to these natural shifts in our body and mind during this time of year.

We invite you to join us, settle onto the mat, and expand your knowledge about the Vata Dosha. Explore a nourishing all-level practice to slow down and create steadiness physically, energetically, and mentally. Learn to embrace the seasonal transition with a sense of groundedness, clarity, and balance, and allow yourself to embody the grace of Autumn. Open to all levels, no experience required.

Cost is $45.
