The Punta Gorda Rotary Club Foundation hosts a Healing Field of Honor, Nov 9-11! Picture 1,000 full-sized American flags flying in ceremonial formation. An individual or an organization sponsors each flag in this Veterans Day weekend display at Laishley Park. Flags honor a fallen hero, veteran, active-duty military member, first responder, doctor, nurse, teacher, or any other hero, creating an awe-inspiring panorama available for everyone to enjoy. Ceremony at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 11.
