Calling all nature nerds, herbalists, foragers, and plant-curious people! Join local forager and FL Master Naturalist Amanda Adams on Friday, January 9th at the Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center in Punta Gorda for a presentation on 20+ Common Edible and Medicinal Plants of SWFL.
“I put together this collection of edible plant profiles from my last 15 years observing the most common “weeds” that occur in yards, gardens, parks, and natural areas. My goal is to make foraging more accessible for the average person who doesn’t necessarily want to tromp through the woods. We are surrounded by loads of food and medicine every single day right outside our homes!”
