This 8-hour course offers the student knowledge in the following areas: How to read a Nautical Chart, Identify Various Aids to Navigation, Determining Water Depth, Magnetic and Compass Variation, Dead-Reckoning, Hands on Practice with Charts, Course Plotting, How to find Coordinates, Speed, Time and Distance Calculations.
