Join Charlotte County as we participate in the tenth annual Imagine a Day Without Water, a National Day of Action that brings together elected officials, water utilities, community leaders, educators, and businesses from across the country to raise awareness about the vital importance of water and the urgent need to invest in our water infrastructure.
Led by the Value of Water Campaign, over a thousand organizations nationwide will take action on Oct. 17, 2024, to remind us not to take water for granted.
On this special day, we invite you to tour the Burnt Store Water Treatment and Reclamation Facility, located at 17430 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the process of water treatment, wastewater management, and reclamation services that ensure our community’s access to clean water.
