PUNTA GORDA GRIND
Songwriter Showcase | Thursday, October 29, 2026
Gulf Theater at the Military Heritage Museum, Punta Gorda, FL
Grindhouse Nashville brings its songwriter round to the Gulf Theater. Four Nashville writers and the stories behind songs recorded by Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and more.
The songs are played by the people who wrote them, on acoustic guitars, and before each one you hear where it came from. No band. No production. Most of these songs you have heard on the radio sung by somebody else. This is the night you hear them from the person who actually wrote the words.
THE WRITERS
Mark Addison Chandler
Nearly 200 songs recorded, by Ella Langley, Luke Bryan, Lee Brice, Braxton Keith, Kashus Culpepper, Randall King, Kalsey Kulyk, John Schneider and more. He started Grindhouse Nashville in 2017 and has hosted the Thursday round ever since.

Co-wrote Kelsea Ballerini’s platinum #1 “Dibs” and the title track of Luke Bryan’s Signs, with two more #1 singles in Australia. Cuts with Keith Urban, Chris Young, LOCASH, RaeLynn, Hannah Ellis, Alexandra Kay and Mac Powell. Writes for Chris DeStefano’s WinSongs.
