TEAM Punta Gorda has partnered with the City of Punta Gorda, which has developed the Bicycle Loaner Program.
Loaner bicycles can be found at a number of locations including the Bayfront Health’s Wellness Center, Laishley Municipal Marina, Four Points by Sheraton, Fishermen’s Village Marina, Isles Yacht Club Marina and The Wyvern Hotel.

All you have to do is provide a driver’s license and a credit card, just in case you don’t bring it back, then hop on.
The bike is yours to use for a short trip or for the day.
You take the lock and key with you, and lock up wherever you go.
Just return the bike undamaged, either a half hour before the business closes or before sunset.
Click on the web image, or call Team Punta Gorda for further information, or call one of the participating businesses found here on this website using the search feature!
To guide you in your exploration, you are provided with both a Punta Gorda Pathways map and TEAM Bicycle Loaner brochure.
Former Punta Gorda Mayor Carolyn Freeland said of TEAM’s loaner program, “What a wonderful service to our community!
Thank you, TEAM Punta Gorda, and all of your volunteers and supporters who helped make this initiative a dream come true. More bicycles will only help to encourage more riders. Again, many, many thanks.”
Bike stations are located at:
Fisherman’s Village, 1200 W Retta Esplanade, 941-575-3000
Laishley Park Marina, 120 Laishley Ct, 941-621-4190

PLEASE NOTE: The availability of bikes is constrained by the participating location’s operating hours. Generally, bikes must be returned between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., but the actual hours are determined by the participating location’s management.
TEAM welcomes a free will donation at bike stations to help offset the continued cost of fleet maintenance.
“This program is managed completely by hard working volunteers,” explains TEAM President Shelly Harris. “Private donations, membership dues and corporate sponsors help fund and maintain this important community service.”
The bicycle loaner program is an important component of TEAM’s “Bicycle Friendly” initiative. To learn more, or get involved, call TEAM at 941-637-8326 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
