The Municipal Marina is located in Laishley Park on the shoreline of Charlotte Harbor and the Peace River.
Laishley Marina is located in Laishley Park on the shoreline of Charlotte Harbor and the Peace River. Charlotte Harbor, the second largest harbor in the State of Florida, offers world-class fishing and access into the Gulf of Mexico at the vicinity of Boca Grande.
The Marina has 85 boat slips and a public boat launch. It features a Day Room for a shower and cleanup and has Boater’s Bathrooms which include showers. It also includes a large Community Room which is intended for use by community groups, private functions and civic and corporate meetings.

Welcome to Laishley Park Municipal Marina
The beautiful new Laishley Park Marina is the forerunner of what will be a complete renovation of Laishley Park as is shown by the illustration below. (click on rendering for a larger view) The Marina opening will be followed by the creation of a second major building which will incorporate a large restaurant with spectacular Harbor views as well as offices and retail stores. It’s scheduled to open in the Fall of 2008. As part of that development there will be extensive landscaping and scenic walkways as well as an interactive fountain with lighted jets of water constantly changing in shape and color. The entire Laishley Park transformation will stand as a tribute to the vision of the leaders of the City of Punta Gorda and to the teamwork of all who helped make it a reality
