The holiday season often brings a flurry of social engagements and fun activity. But that activity can also result in poor sleep, poor nutrition and stress, all of which lower our resistance and increase our chances of getting sick. And our warm Florida winters provide no immunity against cold or flu, because sickness is caused by germs, not by cold weather! In this workshop, we’ll learn about the body’s immune system and how yoga can help to boost, bolster and balance it to improve our chances of staying well. Sequences will combine gentle movement, supported poses, breathwork and sound and will be accessible to all.
