Adho Mukha Svanasana is a fundamental yoga pose. Practiced all on its own or inserted as a transitional posture in a sequence, Down Dog helps you get from the ground up to standing and back down again! Although the pose seems relatively basic, it is anything but. Wrist and shoulder pain, tightness in the hips and legs, and fatigue can all make Downward Facing Dog challenging for many people. In this online workshop, we’ll explore both the physical alignment and the energetics of the pose. Using props and specific yogic techniques, you’ll discover various ways to prepare for and find ease in the pose. The group will be kept small so that individual attention can be given to all. There will also be time for you specific questions about the pose!
