We will celebrate the publication of the FINAL book in his Honor series, “Full Naval Honors: The Final Novel of Peter Wake and His Descendants”! Robert will talk about this book and the series, answer questions, and sign copies of his books.

We have been honored (no pun intended) to be one of Robert’s favorite indie bookstores over the years, and we have very much enjoyed our partnership with him and his wife, Nancy. This will be a very special event, and we hope we’ll have a store full of diehard “Wakians” to send Peter Wake off in style!

Robert N. Macomber’s naval thrillers describe the career and personal life of a fictional American naval officer, Peter Wake. The novels start in 1863, during the Civil War. From 1882 to the end of his career in 1908, Wake serves in America’s first espionage agency, the Office of Naval Intelligence. The novels illuminate the U.S. Navy’s critical role in the expansion of America from a continental country in the mid-19th century into a global power in the early 20th century.
