Our feet support us in myriad ways. Developing a strong and healthy base on which to stand creates alignment in the body, allows us to maintain balance, and keeps us grounded and connected to the earth. This workshop will explore the anatomy of the feet as well as individual tendencies that affect foot stability. Learn ways to stretch and strengthen the structures of the foot and ankle. Proper foot alignment involving subtle and gross movements will be taught. Students will leave with tools to help avoid or alleviate stiff ankles, fallen arches, plantar fasciitis, and bunions.
