Discover the Charlotte Harbor estuary, and some unique animals that live where the river meets the sea, on Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center’s next wading adventure. Participants will wade into the Charlotte Harbor estuary to collect marine samples for study. Throughout the adventure you will learn about the Peace River watershed, the adaptations that help these marine animals survive in their environment, and our community’s connection to the health of this important waterway. This exciting exploration of the world’s largest protected estuary encourages guests to expand their knowledge base while enjoying the sun, water, and Florida’s spectacular natural landscapes. Participants must pre-register to attend this program. Contact Ashley at firstname.lastname@example.org or (941) 575-5435 for more information.
