On Friday, May 12th from 7-8:30 PM, women are invited to attend as author Dr. Phillis Dewitt (http://www.phillisdewitt.com/) speaks on how God transforms our pain into purpose. Though some discussion topics like sexual abuse, loss, identity, womanhood, and sex may be challenging, they are necessary to live whole and healthy lives. Phillis’ story of “I’m Still Standing” is an encouraging one of endurance, transformation, and triumph because of God’s faithfulness.
