Burnt Store Presbyterian Church ranks only behind hospitals and schools in blood donations in Charlotte County and is committed to continue to help meet the critical need for blood donations. Blood transfusions literally save the lives of patients within a couple of days. The turn-around is that fast, the need is constant. The supply of all blood types continually reaches extremely low levels due to high usage. There is always a need for all blood types. Any person who is eligible to donate and wishes to join one of our Blood Donor Teams is urged to register below. The next blood drive is on March 19, from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. All donors receive a complementary gift and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening.
