This event honors the legacy of one of the founders of C.A.R.E., the late Paula Hess. Paula’s vision was of a community coming together to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, empowering them to break the cycle of abuse. In her honor, the board created the Paula Hess Humanitarian Scholarship Fund to allow victims of violent crimes and their families to continue their education.
