We are so excited to bring the 18th Annual Hibiscus Festival back to beautiful Gilchrist Park!
Please join us on April 29, 30 & May 1, 2022 Beautiful waterfront Gilchrist Park will be the site of the 18thPunta Gorda Hibiscus Festival.
Join in the fun at the FRIDAY NIGHT MUSIC FEST 6-10, sweet & savory foods, King Harry’s Gazebo Bar, with Four Magnificent Bands on stage to entertain you.
Saturday 9a opens this exciting Festival with the Lil’ Miss Hibiscus Pageant, 10a Mayor Lynn Matthews will conduct the Opening Ceremony announcing the 2016 King & Queen of Hibiscus as the Huge Exotic Plant Sale begins & continues throughout the park, Dennis Peck of the Charlotte Harbor Community Sailing Center is again sponsoring the Hibiscus Cup Regatta on the Harbor, awards will be presented later on stage. Veteran Motor Car Club of America will have their vintage car display, FREE Kids Zone, Plien Air Artists in and around the Park offering their works for sale, a large variety of craft vendors, with several food vendors and amazing musicians performing on the stage ALL DAY! until 4 pm.
Sunday 10-3 The Huge Exotic Plant Sale will continue surrounded by inspirational music on stage, food, and crafts. All proceeds benefits Charlotte County Historical Society, and The Hunger Bus, singing out for food for all people. Non Perishable foods will be gratefully acceptable anytime.
